
--Coach Mike McCarthy indicated in his meeting with reporters Feb. 3 that linebacker Nick Barnett (knee) and safety Atari Bigby (ankle) are on track with their rehab work to be ready by the start of next season after undergoing surgeries toward the end of last season.
Right tackle Mark Tauscher, who underwent surgery Jan. 15 for a torn ACL in his left knee, is rehabbing at the Packers' facilities. Tauscher, though, is due to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of February and might not be re-signed by Green Bay.
--Quarterback Aaron Rodgers reportedly won't need offseason surgery for the sprained throwing shoulder with which he played most of the season.
Rodgers had said after the season ended, as he prepared to go on a two-week vacation in Australia, that the shoulder felt fine and he wasn't anticipating having an operation.
